Who is Christopher Paolini?
Christopher Paolini was born 17th November 1983 in Los Angeles, California, he is an American author and screenwriter. He is most known for his Inheritance Cycle Series and his “love-letter to Sci-Fi”, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars (2020). He discussed reading and writing with the audience while there.
Alfred A. Knopf, the publisher of the rest of the series, was made aware of the book series by the stepson of Carl Hiaasen (author of Hoot (2002) and his detective series Skink (1987-2020)).
Paolini takes a lot of inspiration from the author J. R. R. Tolkien and E. R. Eddison. Other author inspirations Paolini took from include; Brian Jacques, Anne McCaffrey, Raymond E. Fiest, Ursula K. Le Guin, Frank Herbert and Philip Pullman among others. Paolini also holds the Guinness World Records as the “youngest author of a bestselling book series” on 5th January 2011.
