Daniel Abraham is a science fiction and fantasy author, as well as a comic book writer, known for his solo works such as The Long Price Quartet series and The Dagger and the Coin series. He is best known as part of the duo, along with Ty Franck, that write under the pen name of James S. A. Corey, the author of The Expanse series.

Daniel Abraham’s first published novel was the start of his Fantasy Quartet, Long Price.

In 2005 he won the International Horror Guild Award for his short story Flat Diane and in 2006 the same story was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novelette.
