Who is Deborah Swift?
Deborah Swift is an English teacher and writer of historical fiction. Before she was an author, Swift worked as a set and costume designer for various theatres and TV. It was after she took an MA in Creative Writing at Lancaster University she took up the life she has now. Swift states on her website that writing historical fiction was a natural choice for her. This is because she enjoys the research side of the projects and the excuse to visit old and interesting buildings.
Deborah Swift sas also written as Davina Blake, first published as Blake in 2014 with Past Encounters. The first of her World War Two Sagas trilogy.
Currently living in the Lake District in England as a full-time writer and blogger on her website.
