Who is Kristin Cashore?
Kristin Cashore is an American author of Young Adult and Fantasy, most notably being her debut series of the Graceling Realm. She grew up in the Pennsylvania countryside, being the second of four daughters.
Cashore earned a bachelor’s degree from Williams College, and later earned her master’s degree in 2003 from the Center for the Study of Children’s Literature at Simmons College in Children’s Literature.
Kristen Cashore writes all her novels by hand and has also written professionally for textbooks, teachers editions. And her novels have been translated into over thirty languages. And has been able to make the transition to full-time writing since 2005.
She has lived all over the world, some of the places that she has lived include; Sydney, New York City and London. She currently lives in the Boston Area with her husband.
