Who is Matthew Thomas?
Matthew Thomas works full-time in the pets department in a garden centre in Peterborough. He is a huge and avid supporter of West Ham, a football team in the UK, and the inspiration to his main characters name (Hammer – Hammers or The Irons are two of the nicknames related to West Ham) and Washington Commanders, an American Football team. He has seen both teams play on their home turfs.
He loves to listen to metal music when writing and watching Star Wars, so much so that he mentions all this in his dedications, with his last sentence in support to West Ham F.C.
Matthew Thomas is also the author of the trilogy Of God and of Sacrilege which he hand wrote each of the manuscripts first.
